The camera sees frames. We don't.

The standard coach is built to run entirely on your device. Here is exactly what happens to your camera, your landmarks, and your session history.

Your camera

The camera turns on only after you click to start, and never before. We request video only — never your microphone. Each frame is analyzed in your browser’s memory to estimate body landmarks, then discarded. Frames are not saved, not uploaded, and not sent to any server.

Your landmarks

The pose models produce numeric landmark coordinates. These are used in memory to count reps and time holds, then discarded frame by frame. Raw landmark streams are not persisted or transmitted by the standard coach.

Your session history

When a session ends, a small text summary (routine name, counts, hold times, duration) can be stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB, so you can see your history. This never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it. You can delete any session, or wipe all local data, from your account page.

Model files

The AI model files are served from this site’s own origin and cached by your browser after first use, so the coach can run without repeatedly downloading them. No model files are fetched from third-party content networks at runtime.

Optional accounts and payment

You can use the coach with no account at all. If sign-in is enabled on this deployment, it uses a passwordless email link. Signing in necessarily sends your email address to our authentication provider (Supabase), which stores it to operate your account. Payment (if enabled) is handled by a third-party checkout provider (Stripe) — we never see or store your card details, though the provider associates your purchase with your account so your unlock can follow you. If a waitlist form is offered, the email address you submit is stored so we can contact you, and for nothing else. When these features are not configured, they simply do not appear.

Optional progress sync (“save progress across devices”)

Off by default. If you sign in and turn it on, your Today-plan data — preferences, session dates, which movements you completed or skipped, and coarse responses like “better / same / worse” — is stored against your account so another signed-in device can load it. Your private free-text session notes are stripped before upload and never leave the device where you wrote them. No camera data or landmarks are ever involved, because none are ever persisted in the first place. You can turn sync off at any time from the account page.

Optional on-device recap

If your browser exposes a built-in language model, an optional session recap is generated locally on your device. The recap text is not sent anywhere. If no local model is available, a fixed template recap is used instead.

What we do not do

  • We do not upload your workout video.
  • We do not upload raw landmark streams.
  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not use your sessions to train or fine-tune any model.
